This is a beautiful peace of furniture for a small space. I absolutely love it.I was really excited to have found this console table. It's the ideal size, color, and style for the half-bathroom I intended for its placement.I noticed some blemishes and warping during unboxing (as can be seen in the first photo I've uploaded of the area under the drawer). It appears that the paint had been applied to damaged wood there and in some other areas. The wood itself is not very strong or dense and doesn't seem to be of great quality, but I decided to overlook these cosmetic flaws as it was just going in a bathroom anyway and the flaws were not overwhelmingly glaring.Otherwise, the table was easy enough to put together. The directions were clear and I followed them accordingly. The longer screws are used to secure the legs to the top frame and the shorter screws are used to secure the legs to the stretcher/lower shelf. However, once assembled, I noticed that the longer screws included in the box were too long for the frame depth. They actually went all the way through and poked out of the other side of the frame and are visible with wood and paint cracking on the surface/front of the table. The wood was so soft that I did not realize the damage being caused until the table was completely assembled and by then it was too late. Even if I had known though, I wouldn't have been able to prevent it as the screws need to be screwed in all the way for the table's stability.I contacted the manufacturer's customer support, Safavieh, to notify them and request a refund before leaving this review. They have not responded. After spending $132.94 (a 60% markdown from the list price of $333.00) on this table, I'm disappointed. Considering the quality of the materials, hardware, and customer support, I would not recommend this console table to anyone. Save your money. It looks great in the pictures, but you will need to repair the table somehow once assembled. I hope that Safavieh makes this right with a refund. I'd rather not have to go through the inconvenience of a return. I've been inconvenienced enough at this point.Wood was split at drawer support. Returning. Color was golder than pics - but liked that. Box very light. Grain cheap looking looking...like contact paper. The legs were mislabeled for the opposite sides, so it took me a few frustrating minutes to figure out what I was doing wrong while I was putting it together! Allen wrench was missing from the packaging. I have assembled many pieces of furniture purchased online, and the quality of workmanship on this piece is far below most other items I have purchased for the price. We are using it for a spare bedroom, and it doesn't look bad as assembled. It is true to color from the photo. For a spare bedroom, it is ok, but I would have returned it if it was intended for an entryway, or being used in any of the main rooms in my house. All that said, there are other console tables you may want to look at. I would not recommend this table.Sadly, this table is more greenish than gray. Also had a significant defect in the wood. Cute design but it's going back.My wife and I bought this table to put in a dimly lit corner and hold our phone chargers, and...that's exactly what it's suited for.The construction is sturdy, but not great looking. The individual pieces of it are all decent quality, but there are noticeable gaps in about half of the places where wood should be touching wood seamlessly, and no real way to try to fix it without pretty much disassembling it and trying to build it right yourself. The drawer is seated just a bit irregularly, so that you have to jiggle it just a tiny bit to open it.The thing is, I definitely would recommend this table for a little out-of-the-way spot that you're not going to look at too often or too critically. Out of the corner of your eye, or from a distance, it's a very nice little table. Just don't look too hard at it as you're passing by.Nice table. Well made. Good price.I do like the table, it's a bit smaller than I anticipated, but works for the space. The onlu gripe is that the back legs are a bit longer than the front, so it leans away from the wall (crooked). It can relatively easily be fixed by trimming the back legs, but not something you really want to have to do.It's very light weight, but it does come with a wall ancor if you have little ones and worried about it falling in them.
